Pros and cons of EmergenSee app for iPhone and iPad

EmergenSee app good for

I downloaded a bunch of comparable apps and I think this is the best one, although planet 911 makes the sound and makes flashes go off and I wish this app would be updated to include that. One big problem is that there is no test function! Five minutes ago I just clicked on the police button and Im really hoping I didnt just call them! But its cool that it sends a notice to people of your choice and starts recording secretly – if I was ever in a bad situation.

This App is hands down the best Campus Safety App on the market today! Between the live video, gps and professional security operators there for us anytime of day or night. Wether an Emergency or just a safety concern - I feel better just knowing my kids have the EmergenSee App with them all the time. I can not sing enough praises for what a wonderful job the agents do of protecting the students on and off campus. Love the updates - Keep up the excellent work.

Love the fact that once I start an incident that it keeps recording until I tell it to end. Its great for leaving work and walking through a parking lot by yourself. Thanks for such a great app.

Some bad moments

Cant correct an incorrect birthdate on my profile; have tried over & over, but keeps reverting back to incorrect date (off by 1 day).

This is a great app, it streams your location and live video and audio online and to your contacts almost immediately. The biggest issue I have with the app is that when you lock your phone (perhaps the emergency is that someone is following you and you need to have some stealth) the app closes, and stops recording! Even "stealth mode" shows a big red recording icon in the middle of the screen, hardly very stealthy if someone were to get a hold of your phone... They could easily disable the app and close the incident no issue. It would be great to see a feature where you could lock the phone, and the only way to stop the app would be to enter your passcode/touchID to unlock the phone and stop the recording.

This app is great—it streams your location and live video and audio online and to your pre-selected contacts almost immediately, which makes me feel really safe as a college student going to school in a dangerous area. I always feel reassurance knowing that I have this portable security system in my pocket at all times!

So I downloaded this app months ago and thought I could trust it. I just saw it in shark tank and tested it and it doesnt even work!

I saw this on shark tank. Downloaded app and have tested it with my family in the test mode so far looks like a great safety communication tool. Having the option to add or program app to call police and other security options could be great for security for younger family members away from the home or at college. I hope the company is successful!!

This is an amazing concept and it works however the video live stream is crap It is way to blurry to see anything. All the other features are nice though and Im going to keep the app.
